Each one of our instruments is a
work of art.
Basone
currently offers original hand-shaped body styles, as well as some
variations on popular worldly shapes. We only use quality handpicked
woods, such as figured Big Leaf Maple, Honduran Mahogany and Brazilian
Rosewood. Every individual electric's neck width, scale, and radius is
done pertaining to each model, offering options that you can not buy off
the shelf. Design, function, balance, and tonal flavor come together in
these amazing instruments.

Basone's unique figured Maple tops are created naturally at
Columbia Valley
Tonewoods, owned and operated by Linda and Calvin Voth. Located just outside of Vancouver. This rapidly-growing B.C. tonewoods company stocks kiln dried, award-winning sitka spruce, cedar, exotic figured Maple and other sought after woods. CV also provides woods to other acclaimed guitar companies world-wide.

Most
of our guitars, such as the Basone Phoenix and
Artists series or the award-winning
Smoker's Delight, are only stained, showing off the intricate natural
patterns of our high quality worldly tonewoods. Others, such as the
exquisite Basone Talon, focus
on other more intricate features, varying from adding lasers and LEDs to
the instrument, to sizing variations of
standard shapes. The combination of high-end tonewoods, electronics and
hardware make the guitars of the Basone family feel, sound, and look
second to none.
Some of
Basone's recent hype has been attributed to the release of the patented
model "Talon" guitar, the cannabis-leaf-shaped Smoker's Delight, and the
Basone Original, which was featured in
a Budweiser
commercial aired during the SuperBowl '07, followed by a world-wide
radio interview with Basone's luthier
on the station Rock 101.

Besides our line of custom high end electrics, Basone also offers
customized replacement parts, repairs, set-ups, refinishings, crack
repair, guitar detailing, and everything else you need to improve your
current guitar.
We provide all our services by appointment.
Basone also offers services for the
Movie Industry, such as prop guitars for stunts and guitar
replicas.
